The Pinarello Gan K Disk is new. But it continues a great tradition. It comes into the line to replace the Rokh and the Raza K. And both those bikes were based off the Kobh, then the Dogma K*-Disc. If youre not up on all these Pinarello models, the big thing to know is that the K is what they use to designate their cobblestone cruisers for racing, but they also double as endurance road bikes at home on roads of all conditions, and ideally suited to gran fondos and other epic events.

Geometry tells what the bike is made to do. The Gan K shares a seat angle and chainstay length with the Dogma K8s. They also share flattened and lengthened chainstays for better vertical compliance, and aero seat stays. Likewise, the K bikes get bigger bottom bracket drop, *2mm on most sizes, than the Dogma F8 and Gan S. And you get a longer fork rake, *7mm as well. These all contribute to a more stable ride that allows for frame flex to absorb the bumps without losing efficiency due to lateral flex. As the Gan line is designed for people who dont have the flexibility of WorldTour riders, there is more stack and less reach than youll find on a Dogma. As this is an endurance bike, youll find a higher head tube than on the other Gans.

The frame is still light and stiff, but with a design that adds comfort and stability and is easy to find a racy, but more upright position, than youll find on a pro frame.
